This course is for those who can recite but want to understand what Allah is saying.
You’ll study selected Surahs or Juz with word-by-word meanings, simple translation and easy Tafseer, always focusing on practical life lessons.
The aim is to help you build a real relationship with the Quran – understanding, reflecting and applying its guidance in your daily life.
Course Outline
Unit 1 – Foundations
Brief overview: what is Tafseer?
How to approach the Quran with respect and reflection
Key Arabic words that appear frequently
Unit 2 – Word-by-Word Study
Breaking down ayaat into important words
Explaining meanings in simple English/Urdu
Repeating recitation with understanding
Unit 3 – Thematic Tafseer
Studying selected Surahs (e.g., Al-Fatihah, short Surahs, or chosen chapters)
Main themes: Tawheed, Akhlaq, worship, family, society
Connecting verses to real-life situations
Unit 4 – Practical Lessons
Extracting action points from each lesson
“How can I live this ayah today?” reflections
Short journaling or homework (optional)
Unit 5 – Q&A & Discussion
